Mariana's kitchen is exactly that.
A family-run Mexican diner on South I-35, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner seven days a week.
From Villa Hidalgo, San Luis Potosí.
Mariana grew up in Villa Hidalgo, a small town in the state of San Luis Potosí. With more than 35 years of restaurant experience behind her, Mariana’s Kitchen is where she cooks the food she grew up on for South Austin.
That’s why the menu has a whole section called Sabor de San Luis: enchiladas rancheras topped with seasoned carrots, chicken mole, gorditas and chopped chuletas with calabaza and fideo.
It’s also a diner. You’ll find migas and breakfast tacos in the morning, Tex-Mex plates at lunch, and a burger menu that holds its own next to the enchiladas.
